The Region of Waterloo is responsible for public transit including Grand River Transit (GRT) and taxi services.
Grand River Transit does not currently have any bus routes in the Township of Wellesley.

Kiwanis Transit
Kiwanis Transit provides specialized transit services for residents who can answer yes to one of the following:
- 65 years of age or older (proof of age required)
- Canadian National Institute for the Blind registrant (proof of registration required)
- Physically disabled
- Developmentally disabled
- Have a temporary disability that affects mobility
By Air
Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF)
The Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF) is a full-service, customer friendly facility which supports commercial, corporate and general aviation.
The Airport is only 10 minutes from Hwy. 401 and within a 20 minute drive from the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo. YKF is easy to navigate with free Wi-Fi, complimentary baggage carts, a licensed lounge and low cost parking.
By Rail
VIA Rail runs between Kitchener and Toronto, Guelph, London, and Sarnia; the train station is located at 126 Weber St. W, near the corner of Victoria St. in the northeast corner of downtown. Via runs three trains a day in each direction.
GO Transit runs from Kitchener to Toronto via the train station located at 126 Weber St. W in Kitchener.
