Notice of a Public meeting under s.45 of the Drainage Act Concerning the Paff Drain Eningeer’s Report

Take notice that the Council of The Township of Wellesley will hold a public meeting at the Township of Wellesley Council Chambers, 4805 William Hastings Line, Crosshill, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 6:45 p.m. to receive comments from affected landowners regarding the Paff Drain Engineer’s Report and for Council to provide direction on the drainage works. 

A copy of the Eningeer’s Report can be found on the Township of Wellesley website, www.wellesley.ca/municipaldrain. A printed copy of the Eningeer’s Report can be requested from the Clerk by contacting 519-699-3968 or via email to aharron@wellesley.ca. 

Interested stakeholders/residents that would like to make comments regarding the Eningeer’s Report are provided with the following options:

Written comments received by noon on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, will be included for Council’s consideration. Submissions can be made by:

Verbal submission

Stakeholders/residents wishing to make an verbal submission during the public meeting are asked to attend the Council meeting on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 held at the Township of Wellesley Council Chambers, 4805 William Hastings Line, Crosshill or pre-register to provide their verbal submission virtually. 

To register for a virtual verbal submission, please contact the Clerks Department at 519-699-3968 or via email at aharron@wellesley.ca. 

Written and verbal submissions will form part of the public meeting minutes record, including the name and address of the speaker, as information collected under the Drainage Act. The minutes of the meeting will be posted on the Township’s website.
