What are High-Performance Development Standards?

The Cities and Townships in Waterloo Region along with local utilities are working together to create a set of standards for larger, new development projects in our communities.

These standards will support a healthy and resilient community through measures like:

• EV parking & charging
• Tree planting
• Water efficiency
• Reduced carbon emissions
• Design that encourages mobility
• Transition to low-carbon development

Session Details*

Thursday, February 6th, 2025 - Wilmot & Wellesley

Bill Gies Recreation Centre, Community Room

5:30p.m. - 7:00p.m.

The session will consist of drop-in discussion tables and a presentation at 6:30p.m. Staff will be present to answer questions.

Light refreshments/snacks will be provided. A small table for kid's activities will be available.
