Hours

• Sunday - Saturday: 5:00am-11:00pm
• The fitness centre is open statutory holidays!

Administrative hours to purchase memberships are:

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am-8:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am-7:00pm
• Saturday - Sunday: 9:00am-3:00pm
• The administrative office is closed on statutory holidays.

Adult Memberships

• Yearly: $410 + HST
• 6 Month: $230 + HST
• 1 Month: $41 + HST

Student and Senior Memberships

• Yearly: $328 + HST
• 6 Month: $182 + HST
• 1 Month: $33 + HST

Family Memberships 
(up to 5 members: 2 adults and 3 students)

• Yearly: $1,230 + HST
• Monthly: $128 + HST

Single Visits 

• $5 + HST per visit (Available to individuals 18+ during operational hours only)

Please Note:

• A student is defined as age 25 and under with proof of full-time enrollment.
• A senior is defined as age 55 or older.
• All members must complete a membership application form prior to accessing the facility.

How do I sign up?

• You can visit us at the Bill Gies Recreation Centre at reception counter to sign up for your membership and complete the forms. You must sign up during administrative hours only - Monday to Thursday 8:00am-8:00pm, Friday 8:00am-7:00pm & Saturday to Sunday 9:00am-3:00pm
• You can also email recreation@wellesley.ca for a copy of the membership application form to fill out.

Who can sign up for a membership?

• Anyone age 12 years old and up can sign up for a membership.
• Members aged 12 - 15 years old must always have a parent/guardian accompany them while they are using the facility.
• Members aged 16 & 17 years old can access the fitness centre without a parent/guardian, but the members must have their parents sign the application forms.
• Everyone 17 years of age and under must have an orientation prior to accessing the facility. Orientations are coordinated by recreation staff.

To qualify, renew your membership either before it expires or within 30 days after the expiry date. Please note: This discount does not apply to Family Memberships.

Not sure if the Fitness Centre is right for you?

Try it with our free 1-day trial - available to anyone 18 years or older.
To get started, simply complete a membership application form at your visit. Trials are only available during administrative hours.

Change Room Access: Convenient access to a barrier-free change room with a shower, located right next to the Fitness Centre.

Lockers Available: Lockers are located just outside the Fitness Centre. Please bring your own lock.

Extra Storage: Additional open storage is available in the Fitness Centre for your convenience.

Key Fob Access

All members will receive a key fob for convenient access to the Fitness Centre. The key fob provides access to the South entrance outside operational hours (5:00am-8:00am & 8:00pm-11:00pm) and on statutory holidays.

Please Note:

If you lose your key fob there is a $50 replacement fee.

Fitness Classes are a great way to stay active in a supportive group setting with professional instructors. Fitness Classes fall under Registered Programs at an additional fee and may take place at other Township of Wellesley facilities.

The walking track is free to use during administrative hours. Purchasing a membership allows use 7 days a week from 5:00am-11:00pm including statutory holidays. 

Annual Membership: $25 + HST

Additional Household Membership: $10 + HST

Key Fob Access

All members who purchase a membership will receive a key fob for access to the building. The key fob provides access to the South entrance outside operational hours (5:00am-8:00am & 8:00pm-11:00pm) and on statutory holidays.

Please Note:

Closures

The walking track is closed during all Apple Jacks home games and may be closed for special events throughout the year such as the The Fall Fair, Twin Centre Minor Hockey/Hericanes Minor Hockey Days, Apple Butter and Cheese Festival.

To extend the life expectancy of the walking track please follow the signage for directions on the track or refer below.

Walk Clockwise: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Walk Counterclockwise: Tuesday, Thursday Saturday & Sunday

Strollers, wheelchairs, assistive devices and indoor walking poles are permitted on the walking track. Wheelies (wheeled shoes) are not permitted.
