Splash Pad & Dog Park

Address: 1000 Maple Leaf St, Wellesley, ON N0B 2T0

Splash pad typically open June 1st and closes after Labour day weekend, depending on weather and maintenance. Call the office for more details or check out the Township of Wellesley Social media feeds for updates. Hours while operational are 9am to 9pm.

The dog park includes accessible paths, a controlled entrance, waste disposal unit and accompanying parking lot. Please note that the park is used at the owner's risk. 

Owners are encouraged to be respectful of the other dog park users. Remember to use caution to stay safe and follow the rules to keep the dog park safe for owners and our four-legged family members.

Dog Park Rules 

  • Please control your dog. Aggressive dogs are not permitted. If a dog starts acting aggressively, they must be removed from the dog park immediately by the owner. 
  • Please keep your dog within sight and under verbal control.
  • Up to two dogs per person are allowed at a time in the dog park.
  • Dogs that have previously bitten or injured a person or animal are not permitted.

About the course

This is the first course to be installed in Wellesley! A six hole course with long and short tees around the Township of Wellesley Recreation Complex. Welcome sign with course map and instructions to play will be installed soon. The shorts are great for beginners and those looking to enjoy a family-friendly round. Use the arrows in the basket trays. Longs feature some technical shots that will be enjoyed by more experienced disc golfers, including long shots and water carries. Play the loop three times for a full 18 holes.

Trails in the Township of Wellesley

Please respect all trail users and private landowners by abiding to the following:

  • Stay on marked routes and do not leave the trail
  • Owners MUST keep dogs leashed and stoop and scoop 
  • Respect the privacy of people living adjacent to any trail
  • Hunting is not allowed on or near any trail
  • Do not disturb farm animals or wildlife
  • Leave flowers, plants and trees for others to enjoy
  • Abide by the signs regarding permitted trail use
  • Please stay to the right and allow others to pass to your left
  • Motorized vehicles are not allowed on trails except for snowmobiles on designated sections of the Kissing Bridge Trailway
  • Cyclists are to ring their bell or call out to announce their presence when approaching other trail users
  • Leave nothing but thanks and take nothing but pictures

Home to both woodland creatures and gorgeous foliage, be sure to have your camera ready while hiking Erbhaven.
