Respectful Behaviour Policy

The Township recognizes and values the importance of community organizations, groups, partnerships, and the businesses who work with the Township. Our primary objective is to provide safe and enjoyable working relationships at all facilities between users, visitors, community partners, residents, staff, volunteers and councillors.

No person should ever be made to feel unsafe while attending or working at a Township facility. This policy provides clear direction and understanding for staff and users of what is considered to be inappropriate behavior at municipal facilities and outlines consequences for inappropriate actions accordingly.

The overall intent of implementing a respectful behaviour policy is to protect the people involved at facilities from abuse or harassment as well as protect the facility itself from vandalism and damage. The Township takes pride in providing facilities for the enjoyment and activities of its residents.
