Public Information Session - Official Plan

We Want to Hear from You!

The Township of Wellesley is creating a new Official Plan – a roadmap that will guide growth and development to the year 2051. Please join us for a public information session on November 12, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Crosshill Mennonite Church (located at 2537 Hutchinson Rd.), to provide your feedback on the new Official Plan. The information session will summarize the process of creating the Official Plan, key inputs and directions from recently completed background reports on:

• Residential Growth, Housing, and Intensification Strategy
• Commercial Needs Assessment
• Employment Projections and Employment Lands
• Scoped Secondary Plan for Designated Growth Areas
• Settlement Boundary Expansions
• Land Use Policy Review and Analysis

The Information Session will begin with a presentation to provide the context for the discussions, followed by table group conversations for each one of the background reports. Specialists on the team will be at the table groups to answer questions.

The team is looking forward to sharing information on the new Official Plan. Please plan on joining us on November 12th at 6:30 pm.
